The 4th Generation Cattle Head Holder takes cattle control to a new level, with enhanced control and durability for optimal performance. Featuring an upgraded design with thicker and heavier components, this cattle head holder ensures you can perform treatments on your cattle safely and easily, no matter their size or temperament.
The Cattle Head Holder is made up of two pieces - a bottom bar with a head scoop and top bar to secure the head and prevent thrashing. The two pieces move in a synchronized, scissor-style motion to clamp around the animal's head securely and provide the handler with up-close access to the animal's head without placing unnecessary stress on the animal.
The Sternum Bar is designed as an option for Arrowquip's lineup of chutes for cattle. The newest version comes fully sheeted to prevent hoof traps, and is easily installed with two bolts.
The purpose of the Sternum Bar is to keep cattle from going down in the chute by supporting the sternum and limiting space at the bottom of the chute, keeping them upright during stressful situations such as AI and pregnancy checks. An effective option for high-stress cattle who are prone to lying down in the chute, and can be removed quickly and easily when it is not required.
