At Pleasant Valley Farm, we cherish the moments that bring us together — gathering around the table, offering thanks to God, and sharing the simple joy of a home-cooked meal.
For over 160 years, this land has been faithfully tended. Each generation has honored the sacred trust of stewardship, cultivating both the soil and the values that sustain our family.
While our farm has long provided for our own, we are now honored to share that tradition with you. Experience beef raised right here in our valley — thoughtfully produced, deeply rooted, and lovingly shared from our pasture to your plate.
A Legacy of Brotherhood, Faith, and Hard Work
At the heart of Pleasant Valley Farm are two brothers — David and Steve — whose steady hands and steadfast faith guided the farm through seasons of growth, challenge, and change.
Together, they brought Pleasant Valley into modern times while keeping its heritage firmly rooted in the soil that raised them. They worked side by side through long days and even longer nights. Steve often said,
“Anybody can do it during the day. I like a challenge.”
More often than not, their “board meetings” took place in the chicken house driveway, with the moon as their only witness.
Both men lived out their faith through service.

Each carried principles of integrity, diligence, and compassion into their daily work.
Today, David worships in Heaven, while Steve continues tending the farm with the same quiet strength and faith they shared. Pleasant Valley stands as a living tribute to their brotherhood, devotion, and belief in the goodness of hard work and God’s grace.
